One of my regular columns on this blog will be answering questions that come up from time to time - if there is something you’ve been itching to ask, just leave a comment on a post and I’ll try to get to as many as I can.
The first one I want to cover is how do you find coupon codes and bonus information from casinos?
If you’re reading this blog, then you already know you can find them on sites like this, but there are a few other things you can do too that will make sure you’re ready to snatch up a new bonus that is doing the rounds. Here are five ways you can find out about casino coupon codes:
1. From the Official Casino Website: Each casino publishes their coupon codes (at least their publicly available ones), usually in the ‘promotions’ section of their website. For example, SciFi Casino has the full details of it’s $21 free no deposit bonus listed here. Step 5 of their instructions tells you the coupon code you need to enter to claim your free $21.
2. From Affiliate Links on Websites: Most casinos use affiliates to get the word out to as many people as possible about their offers. The websites themselves can cover topics on just about anything, and the quality of information on these sites varies considerably, however as far as the casinos are concerned, they all operate essentially the same. When you see a casino banner or link, chances are that it is part of an affiliate deal, which means the person operating the site can earn some kind of financial reward if you signup to the casino through the link they provide. It doesn’t affect your play in anyway, the Casinos still give you the same bonus (in some cases you can actually get larger bonuses by going through an affiliate), you’re just supporting the website that you saw the offer on, and it costs you nothing.
3. From Forums or Social Networking: There are plenty of forums and networking places that you can come straight out and ask other people who share similar interests if they know what the coupon code is at a particular casino. Just keep in mind that some forums have rules on what you can and can’t post, so look into that first and make sure you follow the guidelines for that community.
4. Official Casino RSS Feeds: If your favorite casino has a RSS feed for player news, then it’s a good idea to sign up for it. Plug it into your RSS reader and you’ll be notified instantly when they have a new coupon available. You should also consider subscribing to the RSS feeds for casino information sites you like (such as BonusTracker.com if you haven’t done so already!). For more information on what RSS Feeds are, check out our subscribe page.
5. Emailing the Casino: Sometimes the simplest way is also the best… if you want to play at a particular casino and don’t know what coupon codes they have that you can use… send them an email (or use their live support chat if they have one). They will be more than happy to let you know!
Most of the time, Online Casinos want as many people as possible to know their bonus offers and coupon codes - it’s how they draw in new customers and keep their current ones active. So keep your ear to the ground, monitor as many channels as you can and you’ll have more coupon codes than you’ll know what to do with. Good luck.
